Naples is one of the most fantastic destinations for outdoor activities with warm, sunny weather. Growing up nearby, I spent most of my weekends with family and cousins, enjoying the beach activities and the outdoor attractions. 

My family and I visited Naples, Florida​ , recently, and it was pure nostalgia. Although a lot has changed, the fun-filled activities and attractions remain the same. From the beach to hidden discoveries, there is everything. 

Ahead, I have shared all of the attractions and things to do in Naples Florida, which has made our family vacation memorable. So, for all the details, stay hooked till the end!

Things to Do in Naples Florida​ with Kids​

All kids love Naples! We enjoyed the zoo, explored the culture together, and learnt something new at every step. Here are the best kids’ attractions in Naples: 

Explore Naples Zoo

Start of your adventure with the Naples Zoo. The place is beautifully organized with garden settings, seating arrangements, and wide pathways. Kids can play around while enjoying an up-close introduction to wild animals. Kids can feed the giraffes and chat with the zookeepers about the animals’ schedules throughout the day. Also, don’t forget to experience the Primate Expedition Cruise. On this half-hour boat ride, you can explore the island’s inhabited animals. 

Naples Botanical Gardens

This 30-year-old botanical garden was my childhood favorite place for relaxation and getting closer to nature. It has over 1000 species. As you enter the garden, a water lily pool welcomes you with sundraped lights and soothing water falling sound. But the major highlight for the kids is the W.O.N.D.E.R. programs. This helps the kids with better observation & interaction, and easily connects them to nature. 

Go to the Golisano Children’s Museum

This is another top choice for kids’ fun. The champions can have a hands-on learning experience through interactive cultural exhibitions, STEM, and art. Also, my kids enjoyed role-playing in the miniature town. Overall, it is like a science-based playground for kids of all ages. 

Fun Things to Do in Naples Florida​​

Naples offers endless fun for people of all ages. Besides the kids’ fun, here are some other activities that you can enjoy with your friends and family: 

Sun-N-Fun Lagoon

Sun-N-Fun Lagoon is a popular and affordable destination for families and friends. This place features four large pools with a lazy river and multiple water slides for different ages. So, clearly, the adventure and excitement are endless. However, some areas need better maintenance to keep the aesthetic of the place. Other than that, it offers a good mix of waterparks with high-energy activities. 

Take an airboat through the Everglades

This is the most unique activity that I have ever experienced in Naples, Florida. By hopping onto an airboat, you can experience thrilling riding, wildlife viewing, and get educational insights on a unique ecosystem. Also, I have to highlight the excitement of spotting the hidden alligators in between the River of Grass.

Couple’s Favourite Things to Do in Naples Florida​​

Besides sunset strolling and dining at a famous spot, there are a lot of other things that couples can do in Naples. So, to make your bong stronger and keep the spark alive, try the following things: 

Sunset Boat Tour 

Florida is almost surrounded by the sea, and wherever you go to the beach, there will be at least one boat waiting for a couple to take for a romantic ride. Yes, I know that this is very common. But to be honest, even after our marriage of 6 years, we can’t get over this experience. So, enjoy the sunset from the mid sea with romantic background music and delicious food.

Enjoy Naples Pier

Enjoy a beautiful sunset, romantic dolphin watching, and peaceful strolling away from the crowds at Naples Pier. You can find a lot of casual dining options nearby. However, I recently heard of tragic news about a storm that has caused a lot of damage. So, confirm the access before you plan for a visit. 

Experience Naples Yacht Club

If you want to experience a bit of luxury with fantastic romantic dining options, this place is a must-visit. The food not only looks stunning, but also tastes delicious. They also offer great opportunities to get social by arranging events like a wine club, speaker series, and more. So, plan for a surprise date and take your partner to a prestigious dining. 

Free Things to Do in Naples Florida​​

Before you start to worry about your wallet after all these exciting yet costly activities, let me tell you that Naples is not always costly. There are plenty of free things to do in Naples Florida which offer the same excitement and adventure. Don’t believe my words, check on your own: 

Stroll on Clam Pass Park

Get a walk on the beach surrounded by beautiful nature and a mangrove forest. This place has a gold cart attached to the boardwalk. So if you don’t prefer walking or strolling, take a seat and watch people golfing. You can also take a free tram to enjoy the 3 to 4 miles of boardwalk. However, some places may cost around $10 for parking. 

Enjoy at last One Free Concert 

Throughout the years, there have been numerous free concerts hosted in Naples…and you should enjoy at least one at the Cambier Park for an unforgettable experience. You can visit during festival seasons or keep an eye on local event lists for dates, times, and special deals. 

Go to Cullum’s Trail

The Cullum’s Trail is a park of Bonita Springs Parks. With no entrance fee, you get the opportunity to explore the native Florida wildlife, old-growth cypress, and oak tree towers. This is a perfect destination when you and your family do not want to do much but experience a relaxed time. 

Note: This place gets flooded after heavy rains. So, make sure to check the local weather before and be prepared. 

Things to Do in Naples Florida​ for Adults​

The summer heat and humidity of Naples may be a good idea for families to explore the outdoor activities. However, I think this is the best season for the grown-ups. Why? Let’s find below: 

Join Wine Tasting Events at Nat Nat Wine Bar

Nat Nat Wine Bar in Naples hosts wine tasting events throughout the year. We got the opportunity to join their event during peak summer, and believe me, this was the best. Sipping refreshing wine and exploring the vineyards is a rare feeling. But, as this is the peak season for wine tasting, be prepared for high crowds. 

Enjoy FC Naples Soccer

My husband and our other friends are soccer enthusiasts. So, we had to enjoy the FC Naples Soccer match. The lively atmosphere and electric environment were beyond our expectations. If you also enjoy soccer, I highly recommend that you grab a ticket quickly. 

Off the Hook Comedy Club

Enjoy the stand-up comedy show and dark humor at the Off the Hook Comedy Club. Besides the super funny comedians, the club offers delicious food with two complementary drinks per person, a comfortable seating arrangement, and a great stage location.
