Visit the Zoo Tampa
Visiting the Zoo Tampa offers a perfect place for adventure for all ages. Both my 5-year-old son and 55-year-old mother-in-law enjoyed the safari ride. You can expect to see the animals from up close while gaining knowledge about their rescue and rehabilitation. Besides that, you can enjoy various rides, splash pads, Walaroo Station, and shows.
For the timing and admission tickets, you can visit their official website zootampa.org.
Laser Ops Xtreme Fun Center
Another entertaining place for people of all ages is Laser Ops Xtreme Fun Center. You can enjoy laser tag, VR games, arcade games, delicious foods, and adult drinks in a lively and well-maintained atmosphere. The opening and closing times vary on weekdays and weekends. So, it’s better to follow up on the original site.
Hop into the TECO Streetcar
Riding the TECO Streetcar connects you to downtown Tampa. While enjoying the beautiful city views from the historic streetcar, we hopped on and off at famous attractions like Sparkman Wharf or any restaurants. The interesting part is that you can enjoy this heritage ride for completely free, 7 days a week.

For a quieter experience, my suggestion is to visit during the weekdays and avoid peak seasons. These beachside and riverside spots are perfect for romantic dates and family outings.
Visit the Florida Botanical Gardens
The Florida Botanical Gardens is also a popular spot with beautiful tropical plants, native Florida habitats, and seasonal events. I found the butterfly garden and the hub garden the most attractive. Overall, a perfect place to stroll and relax in nature’s lap.
